NDIS

What is NDIS?

The main goal of the NDIS is to help people with disabilities live more independently and be active members of society by providing personalised support and services. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offers assistance to Australians with permanent and significant disabilities. Its purpose is to help individuals reach their goals, gain more independence, and engage fully in their communities by providing the necessary funding.

Key Goals of the NDIS:
  • Access to Services: Ensure people with disabilities can get the support and services they need.
  • Promote Independence: Encourage participants to make their own decisions and live more independently.
  • Health and Well-being: Improve health and well-being through customised plans and care.
  • Community Engagement: Support involvement in community activities and social interactions.
  • Early Support: Provide early help to children with developmental delays or disabilities.
